‘Green’ Policies and You!

This blog is about wind turbines, wind farms and the underlying geopolitical forces that lie behind so called ‘green’ energy and ‘green’ economic and social policy. It is a blog about those who are pushing the agendas which justify the rapid spreading of wind power schemes which we are now seeing all over the world….

… and it is about YOU.

Me?

Yes, you. You may hold strong views about wind farms and associated issues or you may not give a stuff about any of it. But did you ever stop to consider how exactly you came to think the way you do?

Are our opinions on such matters reached through proper access to facts, balanced debate, critical thinking and common sense, or is our thinking being influenced by faulty or unproven science and logic, misinformation, disinformation, propaganda or simply hearsay?

Is the average person-on-the-street’s attitude towards wind power and energy policy a product of their own proper research and applied critical thinking, or is it merely the reflection of an artificially (eg mass media/ mainstream education) generated consensus – in other words: no more than an unexamined set of beliefs?

What does ‘green’ actually mean today?

*

*************************

*

The ‘Step by Step Guide’ section of this blog examines some of the main forces behind energy and environmental policy: the U.N, Club of Rome, the IPCC, Al Gore, Greenpeace and other environmental charities and ‘think tanks’ (and those who fund them) etc.

Using a revolutionary new technique, yet to be discovered by the mainstream media, called ‘looking at their own published documents and listening to what they have been saying for decades in their own words‘ we examine these organizations and look at what agendas they are actually promoting, what other schemes they are involved in.

In looking at these things we ask the question: what does ‘green’ actually mean today? Does it still refer to the colour of leaves, a respect for all nature (including all humans!) and to genuine environmentalism …. or does the ‘green’ of today’s ‘green politics’ and ‘green energy’ now refer to something else which is also green .. like … money ? ….  your money?

*

Finger pointing

But the intention is not (just) to make a ‘pointing-fingers-at-other-people’ blog. Pointing fingers at others may be a necessary starting point, but in the end it is a waste of time unless the last person we point our fingers at is ourselves!

In other words, we need to look at our own attitudes, beliefs and behaviour just as much as anybody else’s. History shows us that whenever chaos, corruption, injustices or monumentally catastrophic errors of judgement occur in the world it is usually because we (the majority of the population) allowed it to happen – usually by being naive, easily lead, apathetic, fearful and too quick to unquestioningly rally behind a bunch of self proclaimed ‘leaders’ and ‘experts’ who we typically know absolutely nothing about (beyond their own skillfully crafted PR)…. ‘leaders’ who’s actions, in retrospect, are shown to be little more than the desire for enhanced status and authority (power) over us, or a willingness to act as puppets for others in that regard.

‘Global problems require global solutions’

You may have noticed that we are now constantly being warned about ‘global problems’ which will require ‘global solutions’. Wind power definitely falls into this catagory  of being (one a part of) a ‘global solution’ that will help alleviate the symptoms of an alleged ‘global energy crisis’ and impending ‘global climate catastrophe’. They are being promoted like some kind of treatment to be applied all over the surface of the entire planet it would seem.

But when this ‘solution’ to our ‘green energy needs’ is proven time and time again to be an prohibitively expensive and totally ineffectual as well as non environmentally friendly it raises the question: maybe it all just another scam.

Maybe that sounds like a crazy accusation, but then again…. is it really? After all, it wouldn’t exactly be the first time in history this has happened. All scams (from dodgy insurance schemes right through to Hitler’s Third Reich) have traditionally used fear-mongering tactics in order to justify and sell their scams to the people as the necessary miracle cure or ‘solution’. And stories of high level corruption and deception do seem to be being exposed on a virtually daily basis now.

In fact these kinds of scam tactics were defined long ago as the ‘Hegelian Dialectic’ principal and more recently by the term ‘Problem – Reaction – Solution’. Both are slightly different ‘flavours’ of the same basic technique of manipulation – a technique which, it could be argued, has shaped our civilization (from ancient times to the modern day) more so than any other in history…… which is probably why it is never taught in schools or mentioned in the media and why you’ve probably never even heard of it.

And so could it be some of these ‘global solutions’ we keep hearing so much about – not least ‘green energy’ and ‘sustainability’ etc – are in fact another case of ‘Problem – Reaction – Solution’?

Just what is this ‘global solution’ which is being offered to solve the ‘global problem’ of ‘climate change’ and the global ‘energy crisis’ (of which wind power plays a major part)? Well, we all know it’s about being ‘green’, which is actually a very pleasant colour, (so far so good!). But beyond nice, helpful suggestions like not leaving the fridge door open all night or driving about with half flat tires and a boot full of spare cement bags it seems to also be about the implementation of some vague and actually rather disturbing ‘utopian future society’, which will involve the setting up of a global authority (‘global governance/ Global Management’) controlling all of society in ever more intrusive and authoritarian ways.

*

So I guess you could say the solution being proposed, and to an extent the solution already being implemented incrementally, is an intrusive, authoritarian and all powerful global dictatorship (in all but name) increasing their interfering control over the fine detail of the lives of everyone on this planet. I am sure this will sound a little alarmist and hysterical to many readers. Maybe it is.

But, then again, if the original ‘global problems’ being used to justify the ‘global solutions’ start to ever be exposed as unfounded, unscientific, outright lies and even cases of deliberate deception then maybe it isn’t quite such an hysterical as idea after all.

If this is that case, wind power could in fact represent not a solution at all, but instead the visible symptom of some underlying dis-ease or imbalance in this world – an alarming and unsightly rash spreading across the earth’s surface – caused by greed, corruption, the pursuit of power, wealth and control. There’s certainly plenty of that about I’m sure we can all agree.

*

*

*

If wind farms really are indicative of much deeper and more odious agendas which are now ‘breaking the surface’ and intruding into our lives in ever more destructive and ridiculous ways, then our opposition to them goes far beyond any ‘selfish’ desire to have an unspoiled view to the horizon or to safeguard the local economy or the value of housing or the concerns over the health of humans and the local wildlife (not that these aren’t valid enough concerns anyway), but extends to the responsibility we all have (not least to our children) to keep the world free of corruption, deception and corporate anarchy and corporate fascism.

*

‘Global Governance’

It is important to understand that, along with wind farms themselves, we see attempts being made to construct, on a global scale, a framework of draconian global laws, global regulations and global taxes which, if fully implemented, may prove even harder to dismantle than any bunch of turbines (that is should they ever prove to be useless, inefficient aging eyesores, sunken into thousands of tons of concrete and flapping in the unpredictable breeze, unable to even produce enough electricity to pay for their own maintenance).

But unlike wind power itself, such a ‘green’ restructuring of our entire economies, lifestyles, behaviours and even beliefs (and especially the beliefs of our children) might prove to be extremely effective and efficient – not for helping with any energy or environmental needs – but for hoovering up what wealth (including property) still remains in private hands and leveling all of society, from the rich to the poor, into one giant eco-friendly easy to manage underclass of indoctrinated and willing ‘carbon slaves’ under control of a ‘super class’ of elitist billionaires.

*

*

Perhaps in this Orwellian (or ‘Medieval 2.0’) scenario another function of windmills (perhaps their only successful function) might be to act as a visible reinforcement to our psychological acceptance (and even embracing) of the de-industrialization of the Western world, and dismantling of the middle classes in the name of ‘sustainability’, as if the whole ‘developed nations with a free society’ thing had been some kind of catastrophic disaster – and one we all deserve to pay dearly for, with a radical new ‘green lifestyle’. In fact it would seem our children are already being taught to think this way, and to embrace just such a future society.

In fact what better way could there possibly be to constantly remind us that this New Age of social and economic restrictions with the heavy burden of ‘carbon guilt’ and associated ‘carbon penance’ paid to an elite global authority to appease the heavens and avoid any kind of ‘wrath from the clouds or the sea’ is here (and here to stay) than by filling up every corner of our very landscape with these giant 400 foot tall symbolic ‘totems’ each sunk firmly into a thousand tons of concrete?

Mass media madness

If there is indeed an iceburg of corruption, deceit, propaganda and corporate fascism lying beneath the surface of this whole ‘clean energy’ agenda and helping to push it forward, despite a mass of intelligent and well reasoned opposition by theose who have spent five minutes researching it for themselves, then this blog wants to help expose it.

But we also want to help expose the forces of corruption and negativity which lie in all of us. We believe that whole populations sitting in front of TV machines every evening allowing their minds to be downloaded with all sorts of questionable information with very little conscious critical thinking (and often with little mental participation at all) has just as negative an impact on the world as the most dastardly plans of any bunch of greedy corporations or corrupt politicians.

How can we ever hope to properly understand the issues surrounding wind farms (or any other issue for that matter) without first examining the mainstream media itself? In this increasingly ‘global world’, where decisions that affect us are made so far away, we have learned to rely on the mass media to be our  eyes and ears on that world. And while it’s true that we now have the internet, so many people still only visit websites which mirror, or echo in a parrot-like fashion, the poor level of information and narrow scope of debate found in the rest of the corporate controlled mainstream media programming – and in doing so only serve to further validate and reinforce it.

It can not be underestimated how important it is to properly understand what the mainstream media is all about …. how it works, how powerful it really is in shaping our thoughts, opinions and behaviour, who owns it and what their agendas and allegiances are.

How could a proper understanding of the media not be important? And yet have you ever seen a documentary on TV exploring such subjects as mass media ownership or the media’s (especially television’s) huge power to set public opinion and to virtually define reality – to the point of being the most powerful mass mind control weapon ever conceived?

Of course you haven’t. The billion dollar advertising industry, for a start, would neverallow any such exposé of TV’s power to be shown – after all they rely on TV’s power to convince us that their manufactured illusions have some kind of bearing on reality. And they are not the only ones relying on TV’s power in this regard.

What is that thing in the corner of your room anyway?

If some total stranger knocked on your door and asked to come in and stand in the corner of your living room for the entire evening performing loud monologues and idiotic skits and then ‘every hour, on the hour’ told you what was going on in the world and what to think of it (as well as trying to sell you all sorts of products by making you feel inadequate and unsatisfied with your lot in life), would you let them into your house? (be honest!).

And if you were brave (foolish?) enough to do so, wouldn’t it feel really, really weird to just sit there obediently for hours on end watching this stranger perform all evening, just a few feet in front of you and often gazing directly into your eyes, and all the time with you not saying anything to him and perhaps not even thinking to question any of it? ……. Well, isn’t watching television pretty much the same bizarre scenario?

Sure, we are thoroughly familiar with the presence of televisions and television programming in our homes and in our lives – but being familiar with the presence of something is not the same as knowing anything about it. And the fact everyone else in the country is doing the exact same thing doesn’t make it any less crazy – it just makes it more acceptable.

And here’s the thing: wouldn’t it be more likely, if you were to let some stranger into your house to talk at you all evening, that you’d be extremely attentive, extremely suspicious of his motives and the validity of his claims and keen to question him, bring him up on certain points, get him to back up his assertions with facts and evidence and generally not let him take you for a anybody’s fool?

This degree of suspicion, caution and assertiveness would all be very normal and very healthy behaviour. Now compare that scenario to a typical evening spent slouched in front of the telly box and you can begin to see just how powerful the TV is at lowering our defenses and switching off all our critical faculties.

And as if that didn’t make the TV powerful enough remember it can talk to millions of people at once. A single hour long documentary watched by 10,000,000 viewers means it can get its message across to those 10,000,000 viewers in a single evening. Yet it would take our poor stranger 5000 years to communicate the same amount of information (one hour’s worth) if he were to do it by knocking on everyone of those 10,000,000 viewer’s houses and speaking to them for one hour (assuming they let him in of course!). Such is the power of TV ….. and whoever controls it.

You can do the maths yourself! (for my calculations I had him working a normal 5 day week with two weeks’ holiday, seeing 8 people a day).

What about windmills?

You may be thinking this is all a bit ‘off topic’ in relation to wind farms and even energy policy generally, but we suggest that the very concept of subjects such as ‘mass media’, ‘environmentalism’, ‘science’, ‘geopolitics’, ‘energy policy’, ‘social policy’, ‘television’, ‘fascism’, ‘the entertainment industry’, ‘mainstream education’, ‘philosophy’ etc all somehow being ‘separate’ and ‘unconnected’ ensures we will never be able to gain any real grasp of reality – of what is really going on in the world – even if we spend all our time talking about ‘current affairs’

Thinking in such a compartmentalized way is to limit the scope and effectiveness of thought – and to deny the chance of common sense or even (gasp) wisdom entering the equation. Compartmentalization of thinking into separate ‘issues’ and ‘topics’ is in so many ways just another form of dumbing down.

And this notion of the ‘unconnectedness of all things’ into neat compartmentalized categories to be dealt with separately and for the most part in isolation is something we are taught from childhoodfirst in mainstream education (schools) and then via mass media.

But in the real world it makes absolutely no sense to treat everything in such a compartmentalized way. Common sense always tells us to gather all the facts, and see things from as many different perspectives as possible and to then join up the dots to get a sense of the ‘big picture’ and not just get trapped by isolated details, as compelling as they may be.

If someone is offering to sell us second hand car probably the first thing we want to do is find out as much about that person as we can! …. especially if it was they who came knocking on our door and we weren’t even considering buying a new car!

In the same way only an idiot would not want to know all about the people who first came up with with these ‘green’ schemes and who are currently knocking on all our doors (or would that be television screens?) and using every sales tactic in the book to sell us what amounts to a very, very, very expensive ‘climate and energy insurance plan’consisting of such things like ‘carbon taxes’, ‘wind farms’, ‘cap and trade’ and ‘sustainable development’.

By understanding better the bigger picture, of which wind farms and even ‘green’ policy generally are just one small part, it may actually be easier to put forward a compelling case against insane and destructive wind farm development. But in truth, this blog is not really about fighting against anything – it is primarily about  raising awareness among communities – even those in the community who think they stand to benefit from such schemes. And it is about reawakening the desire and the confidence to find out things and to think critically for yourself instead of acting like mere ‘sheeple’ hopelessly trapped in a mass media generated consensus trance.

Knowledge is indeed power, and if the public was a little more informed and street wise to what is actually going on in the world – often right in front of their faces – and if they exercised their minds a little more instead of letting them rot and be programmed in front of the TV, then perhaps we wouldn’t need to be always fighting against insane, absurd and profoundly negative and destructive forces all the time because such forces would never be able to take hold, let alone get so out of control as they so often do.

*

As the saying goes:

‘To expose evil is to defeat it’…

*

And as the political puppets, working for their globalist masters, like to tell us:

*

‘If you’ve got nothing to hide, you’ve got nothing to fear’

*

This blog is our humble attempt at applying that very philosophy to those who espouse it so often.

*

And in that spirit, we urge you not to just ‘believe’ (or dismiss) any of the information presented on this blog, but instead to do more research and critical thinking for yourself.

Differences of opinion, different attitudes and different ways of thinking are all good!

History shows us over and over that it’s when we all start repeating the same mantras to form a homogenized mass-consensus view that we put ourselves in the most vulnerable position and in the greatest danger.

“A Nation of Sheep will beget a Government of Wolves.” — Edward R. Murrow

*

If any age looked potentially capable of avoiding the old ‘history repeating itself’ trap, then surely it has to be this age of free internet access and profound awakening, on many levels, that we are living in today.
